The Passing Strategy was developed by Konstantin Haslauer and Helmut Gombocz during 2020 and 2021, and brought into the US in 2022 by Karen Wegehenkel.
Konstantin Haslauer and Helmut Gombocz, both from Austria, developed this strategy there in answer to the draconian measures taken by their government to ‘slow the spread’. They realized that this way of governance had gone too far off the rails and needed to be addressed on a large scale. The Austrian name Nebengleis-Strategie can be translated with ‘the side track a train takes to pass another’. Our society as it exists now can be symbolized by a big train that has gone off the rails. Konstantin and Helmut saw an opportunity to build a new track for a new kind of train that can – piece by piece – take over where the old one fails, while using all available tools to their advantage.
Konstantin Haslauer, a successful entrepreneur of 25 years, was directly harmed in 2020 by both the Austrian and German government’s responses to Covid-19. He lost his businesses overnight as a direct result to these measures.
Konstantin was born in 1967, apprenticed as carpenter and started his career as a technical tradesman. Since 1998 he had been an entrepreneur holding many different businesses, i.e. the first private certified educational institute, a business advisory service, he was also a senator in the EU economy senate and a speaker, coach and consultant. At one point he founded a network of five companies in three countries.
He always tried to give surplus back to his customers but felt sand bagged and hampered in that goal again and again by rules and regulations the government put onto him and his businesses. For this reason he did a tremendous amount of research and contemplation to explore new ways. The Passing Strategy was developed out of the desire to create abundance through business endeavors and to put the generated surplus back into the communities – for everyone’s benefit.
Helmut Gombocz has had two near-death-experiences in his youth, which gave him a special approach to life and the spiritual world. His closeness to nature gives him the ability to learn much from observation, and his wisdom elevates the strategy, completing the work that Konstantin has put into it. He met Konstantin in 2021 and has since contributed much to the strategy and co-founded the Konhell Academy with Konstantin.
